PENTECOST + PENTECOSTÉS

Prayer For the Beatification of Father Jules Chevalier, MSC

God our Father, we thank you that out of love for us, you gave us Jesus, your Son, for the salvation of the world. In a special way, we thank you for giving to your Church Father Jules Chevalier, so that he could provide a means of healing for the ills of his time.

Standing with Mary at the foot of the cross, he wished to make known and loved everywhere the merciful love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

We ask you, Lord, that Jules Chevalier be proposed to the Church of today as an example of Jesus’ love for us. May he be an intercessor with you on our behalf as we strive to make your justice, your peace and your love known everywhere. Amen.

Oración Para Pedir la Beatificación del Padre Julio Chevalier, MSC

Dios Padre Nuestro: Tu amor hacia nosotros ha sido tan grande que no has dudado en entregar a su Hijo por nuestra salvación. Te damos gracias por ello y por haber dado a tu Iglesia al Padre Julio Chevalier para poner remedio a los males de su tiempo. Contemplando con Nuestra Señora del Sagrado Corazón a “Aquél que fue traspasado,” fue el apóstol apasionado del Corazón de Jesús y de su Amor misericordioso, que él quería fuese amado en todas partes.

Siguiendo sus huellas, queremos poner remedio a los males de nuestro tiempo, a nuestras violencias, a nuestras injusticias, a nuestras faltas de amor. Para ello te pedimos que el Padre Julio Chevalier sea propuesto a tu Iglesia como ejemplo de amor a Cristo y de entrega por la salvación de nuestros hermanos los hombres.

Dánoslo como intercesor ante Ti y como guía en nuestro caminar, a fin de que llegue a todas partes tu Reino de justicia, de amor y de paz, y que el Corazón de tu hijo sea el Corazón de un mundo nuevo. Amen.

Prayer of Consecration to the Heart of Jesus + Consagración al Sagrado Corazón

Lord Jesus, we praise you and celebrate the love of your Heart. We honor you, we glorify you. We are grateful for your help this day. We offer our thanks; we consecrate and give our hearts to you. Take them, hold them fast and make them your own forever. Fill them with your life. Let us follow all the ways your mark for us. Jesus, merciful Savior, may your love be known everywhere.

May all people know the goodness of God. And God's wonderful kindess toward them.

Lord Jesus, with renewed kindness you enrich your Church with the boundless gifts of your Heart. Help us to respond to such love, to serve you truly in our lives, and to live as reflections of yourself--holy and blameless--so that others may come to the fullness of Christan life. Amen.

Te saludamos corazón admirable de Jesús, te alabamos, te bendecimos, te glorificamos, te damos gracias, te ofrecemos nuestro corazón, te lo entregamos y consagramos. Recíbelo y poséelo entero, purifícalo, ilumínalo y santifícalo, a fin de que vivas y reines en él perpetuamente. Amen.

REMEMBER, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the great things the Lord has done for you. He chose you for his Mother. He wanted you close to his cross. He gives you a share in his glory. He listens to your prayer. Offer him our prayers of praise and thanksgiving; present our petitions to him. Let us live like you, in the love of your Son that his Kingdom may come. Lead all people to the source of living water that flows from his Heart, spreading over the world hope and salvation, justice and peace. See our trust in you; answer our prayer. Show yourself always our Mother. Amen.

ACUÉRDATE, Nuestra Señora del Sagrado Corazón, de las maravillas que Dios hizo en ti. Te escogió como Madre de su Hijo, a quien seguiste hasta la cruz. Te glorificó con El, escuchando con agrado tus plegarias por todos los hombres. Con más confianza en el amor del Señor y en su intercesión, venimos contigo a las fuentes de su corazón, de donde brotan para la vida del mundo la esperanza y el perdón, la fidelidad y la salvación. Nuestra Señora del Sagrado Corazón, tú conoces nuestras necesidades: Habla al Señor por nosotros y por todos los hombres. Ayúdanos a vivir en su amor. O St. Joseph, Model and Patron of those who love the Sacred Heart, guardian of the Holy Family, grant you fatherly protection to this our family, consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Obtain for us from your divine foster Son, perfect purity of heart, a living faith, a true interior spirt, and finally the grace of a happy death. Amen.

O San José, Modelo y Patron de los Amigos del Sagrado Corazón, fiel protector de la Sagrada Familia, concede tu constante protección paternal a esta comunidad consagrada al Corazón de Jesús. Alcánzanos de tu divino Hijo adoptivo la pureza de corazón, el espíritu de fe, la verdadera vida interior, y al fin, la gracia de una muerte bienvanturada. Amen

Prayer for Vocations for the Chevalier Family + Oración por las Vocaciones para la Familia Chevalier

Loving God, you have enriched the Church with the spirit of our Founder, Jules Chevalier. For many years men and women have responded to serve the Church with their whole lives as Brothers, Priests and Sisters, inspiried by the love of Jesus and His unconditional love for each person.

Please give men and women the vision of the prophet, the courage of the martyr, a love like Mary's for your Son, and the grace today to respond to Your call. Give courage to their parents and families to encourage them to serve you in the Consecrated Life.

Once again, fill the Chevalier family with young men and women to be Brothers, Priests and Sisters in the world. We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Amado Dios, tú has enriquecido a la Iglesia con el espíritu de nuestro fundador, P. Julio Chevalier. Durante muchos años bastantes hombres mujeres, espirados por el amor de Jesús cuyo amor es incondicional para todos, han entregado sus vidas en servicio de la Iglesia como Hermanos y Hermanas Religiosos y Sacerdotes.

Te ruego que des hoy a los hombres y mujeres la visión de los profetas, el valor los mártires, un amor como el de la Virgen María hacia su Hijo, y la gracia para poder responder a tu llamado. Dé valor a sus padres y familiares para que los animen a servirte en la Vida Consagrada.

Renueva a tú bendición a las familias religiosas del P. Chevalier con jóvenes dispuestos a ser hermanos, Hermanas o Sacerdotes al servicio del mundo entero. Esta es nuestra oración en nombre de Jesús. Amen.
