ABSALÓN ALVARADO TOVAR MSC

Absalón Alvarado Tovar, MSC has been elected Superior General of our MSC Congregation during the afternoon session on Monday, September 11. Absalón is a member of the MSC Province of Central America, now Superior Provincial and was elected in the first round of voting. His first words were of gratefulness and invitation to share the leadership to serve the Congregation around the world for the next six years. A first gesture marked his choice to wash the feet of five missionaries representing the Continents, reminding us that it is a shared service. He was then greeted by the Chapter Assembly. Absalón Alvarado Tovar, MSC ha sido elegido Superior General de nuestra Congregación MSC durante la sesión de la tarde del lunes 11 de septiembre. Absalón es miembro de la Provincia MSC de Centroamérica, ahora Superior Provincial y fue elegido en la primera vuelta de la votación. Sus primeras palabras fueron de agradecimiento e invitación a compartir el liderazgo para servir a la Congregación en todo el mundo durante los próximos seis años. Un primer gesto marcó su elección de lavar los pies de cinco misioneros que representan a los Continentes, recordándonos que es un servicio compartido. Fue recibido por la Asamblea Capitular.
